These bent-armed lights make the room and somehow remind me of The Magic Toaster (obscure reference...anyone?). I love them in brass, nickel, or black, and they work in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, over bookcases...you name the place, I'll figure out a way to put one there. Plus, they add a little masculine punch. Of course, something this good-looking doesn't come cheap; so start saving your pennies to get one at Circa Lighting or Visual Comfort Lighting Source.
How have I never seen these before and yet you have found ample illustrations of them everywhere? I like them in the kitchen best because they seem so functional. Something about the bathroom picture makes me feel like I'd freak out with them around me like that so close. Guess I'm weird. I could also see having them on each side of a headboard in the bedroom as reading lights. So, now that you've pointed them out I'll probably start noticing them everywhere. That's what I love about reading your blog!
