Quickly climbing its way to the top of my must have items for the new house is Schumacher's Chenonceau fabric. I tend to gravitate towards graphic patterns, and the graphic design with a traditional twist is calling my dining room's name. It also looks great in traditional, country, or more modern designs like the images above. If you're interested, I've found a shop on Etsy that sells pillows here, and I know Plum Cushion and Marley Material have had it in the past.
I like the pattern but am actually more interested in the fact that in two of these pictures (3 & 5) the kitchen chairs that my parents have had for LIFE have been given new life with a coat of black or white paint. I can't believe what a difference it makes from the 70s brown/wood base they still have at my parents' house. I'm kind of in shock.
ReplyDeleteI'm a complete scavenger when it comes to furniture, and I would totally run off with your parents chairs if it were me! They'd be really fun painted in a bright color too.
